The tech stack is production-grade: Flask and PostgreSQL on the backend (hosted on Neon), React on the frontend, deployed via Render with blueprint architecture and JWT authentication. This isn’t a prototype — it’s enterprise-depth software with a consistent design language across every module.

The valuation: £150,000 and growing

An independent technical assessment valued the combined platforms at £100,000–£150,000 on replacement cost alone — what it would cost a professional development team to rebuild from scratch at £600–800/day over 12–18 months. The AI integration and HGV compliance depth were identified as genuine competitive moats that most fleet software in the SME market simply doesn’t have.

But the real story is what happens next. SaaS businesses are valued on Annual Recurring Revenue multiples — typically 3× to 6× ARR for vertical SME software, rising to 8–12× with strong growth and low churn:

At 500 customers with mixed fleet and HGV pricing, this is a credible £1.5–2m business and an attractive acquisition target for trade buyers in the fleet technology space. At 1,000 customers, it’s meaningful exit territory — the kind of outcome that would traditionally require a funded team, years of development, and millions in capital.
